We invite you to contribute to this legacy through your unique talents and personality. Within Lake Royale, we have TWO unique opportunities for two restaurant proprietors. The first is to open a grill type restaurant at our golf course, The River Golf Club at Lake Royale as soon as practical. The second is to start a new restaurant that we would like to open in the March/April 2021 time frame. The first opportunity is to serve lunch and dinner in a fully stocked (appliances) kitchen located in The River Golf Club at Lake Royale Pro Shop. The kitchen is decked out in newer appliances and the traffic is driven by the golf course. The ability to short order cook and turn orders quickly is of the utmost importance in this location. Included in monthly fee would be propane, electric, water, sewer & local phone. The second opportunity is to serve lunch and dinner in the community clubhouse near the lake. The restaurant would be providing a specific menu requested by the community population with additional offerings as you so choose. This isn't your ordinary restaurant, so we aren't looking for ordinary people. We have already performed research on the wants and desires of the community and will provide you with those results. The possibilities are endless. Proprietor Primary Objective: The Proprietor, under self-leadership, is responsible for the overall operation of the restaurant. Core responsibilities include performance, guest satisfaction, increased sales and profitability, while actively ensuring the restaurant meets financial and operating goals. Core Responsibilities: People Proprietor is accountable for ensuring their team members effortlessly deliver. Sales As an active member in the community, you would be expected to function with an ownership mentality. You would go above and beyond to maintain the quality and consistency our guests crave (no compromises, no short-cuts, no matter what). Profits You keep them. We do not want a percentage of your earnings. We want to offer the community local fare as an amenity. Costs For The River Golf Club at Lake Royale, there is a monthly rental fee on the space, $450. Included in monthly fee would be propane, electric, water, sewer & local phone. You would be responsible to pay for internet. The kitchen hood is to be cleaned every six months by a professional cleaner. This kitchen is smaller than the clubhouse kitchen, but perfect for grill operations. You are also responsible for all food, materials, paper products, etc. to run your operation. For Lake Royale Clubhouse, there is a monthly rental fee on the space, $450. Included in the monthly fee would be electric, water & sewer. Propane for cooking, phone and internet would be your responsibility. This kitchen is the larger of the two spaces available. Within the kitchen space is a walk in cooler and a fire suppression hood that are supplied. The kitchen hood is to be cleaned every six months by a professional cleaner. You are also responsible for all food, materials, paper products, etc. to run your operation. HOSPITALITY We take great pride in ensuring all guests receive a warm and memorable experience leaving them feeling better than when they came in. THE EXPERIENCE Our restaurant represents a classic neighborhood restaurant where locals come to meet and eat. REQUIREMENTS • 5+ years as a Restaurant Owner or Dining Operations Manager • Casual dining experience (preferred) • Sustainable operational results with solid job history • Stellar business acumen – managing a P&L, scheduling, ordering/inventory • Enjoys hands-on leadership in a scratch kitchen restaurant • Able to provide a menu based on the desires of the community • Listen to the community on menu items and adjust as necessary SOUND INTERESTING?
