About the Property
The historic Santa Fe Depot in Monrovia is a Spanish Colonial Style building originally built in 1924. It has been converted into a restaurant space, but was restored so that all the historic elements of the building were preserved. Directly outside of the building is a pedestrian promenade and an outdoor music amphitheater and is approximately a one-to-two-minute walk to the new Monrovia Gold Line Station. The site is a part of Monrovia’s Station Square redevelopment plan, which has included the development of large-scale multi-family properties within a one-to-two-minute walk to the Historic Santa Fe Depot. There are close to 700 existing multi-family units, and another 716 units under construction all of which should be completed within the next 12 months. The project is in partnership with the City of Monrovia, which is willing to work with the tenant of the Santa Fe Deport to serve the Beer & Wine music festival as well as any other public event organized at the Station Square Park right out front of the restaurant.
