About Queen Anne
Located between Downtown Seattle and Ballard, Queen Anne benefits from proximity to the downtown core and other popular neighborhoods.
It is primarily a residential neighborhood with office clustered at the southern end in Lower Queen Anne, also known as “Uptown.”
Uptown is home to the city’s highest concentration of cultural attractions, including with the new Climate Pledge Arena, home to Seattle’s NHL team. Expedia is the largest office tenant in the area, with a campus on Elliott Avenue. There is also a growing supply of biotech tenants in that area.
The north end is home to a combination of office and maritime uses, with Seattle Pacific University nestled in-between. Across the canal from those are the Ballard and Fremont neighborhoods, hip destinations for nightlife and farmers markets.
At the top of Queen Anne hill is a small business district with midrise apartments, retail, and a smattering of offices. This area offers a suburban neighborhood feel minutes from the city core.
