Johns Creek is a highly affluent suburb of Atlanta, which is known for its great schools as well as some of the nicest country clubs Atlanta has to offer. The citizens in the area decided to incorporate this area of northern Fulton County, and the City of Johns Creek was created when the Governor of Georgia signed it into law in 2006. Since this time, the area has continued to grow, with more developments such as Emory Johns Creek Hospital. This is a 110-bed hospital featuring some of the most advanced medical technologies and services, including emergency, surgery, cardiology, oncology, intensive care, and advanced imaging capabilities. Many white collar jobs have moved to the area, with the top 3 employers having over 1,000 employees each: State Farm Insurance, Alcon, and Macy’s Systems and Technology. Johns Creek is a very popular area for many Atlantans to call home.
