Downtown Detroit has undergone a recent revitalization, which has led to a blossoming of commercial activity in the urban core. The principle spark that caused demand to shift from the suburbs to the downtown district was Quicken Loans relocating its global headquarters to Campus Martius Park and Bedrock Development, unveiling a plan to renovate underutilized office space into apartments.
