Loop 289 is within proximity of the subject neighborhood, with convenient access provided by the Marsha Sharp Freeway and Frankford Avenue. 82nd Street bisects the subject neighborhood, and is considered as a primary thoroughfare through the southern portion of the City of Lubbock. This roadway is six-lanes and asphalt paved with curb and gutters, plus a constant turning lane. 98th Street is an additional primary roadway that extends along the south boundary of the subject neighborhood. Milwaukee Avenue is a six-lane concrete paved roadway with constant turning lane.
