Arlecdon is a village in west Cumbria about 6 miles east of Whitehaven, just 3 miles outside the Lake District National Park and on the A5086 which links Cockermouth with Egremont. It has a church, primary school and convenience store. The Hound Inn is prominently located on the main road with views of the fells of the western Lake District.
