Irene Dakota is an adaptable, flexible and creative real estate professional that thrives on challenges and projects from diverse market segments, new ideas/experiences, energetic people and the opportunity for growth.
Irene began her career in 2003 where she worked closely alongside Keller Williams’ Top Producers. Just a few years later in 2005, Dakota joined Tony Cho’s real estate brokerage, Metro 1, as the company’s first sales associate. With well over a decade of dedicated commercial real estate experience, Irene joined Global Luxury Realty in 2017 to continue her commercial real estate career with a specialization in new construction warehouses, vacant land and off-market deals. Throughout her career, Irene has built a strong business based on relationships and most recently expanded her business to include her husband, Michael Dakota, to service her residential real estate clients.
A native New Yorker and a near-native Miamian (having lived in South Florida for over 30 years, Dakota previously worked in the film and entertainment industry which included an impressive roster of clients such as: Miami Vice, Miami Ink, photography projects with clients including Visa, The Florida Lottery, Carnival Cruise Lines, Sandals Resorts and Superclubs Resorts). Other clients include: Anne Klein, AT&T, Bacardi, Budweiser, Dolphin Swimwear, the major cruise lines, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Merck Pharmaceuticals, RJR, The Limited, The Miami Heat and Publix. Dakota has also run several successful businesses including Dakota Studios, Loads of Suds and The Wash Club.
